DEL TORO]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider directing staff to evaluate\nimprovements to the encroachment permit process in order to strengthen\ncompliance and address construction-related violations of public right-of-\nway regulations.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff to evaluate and identify potential\nimprovements to the encroachment permit process for projects of all sizes\nfrom small residential projects to large-scale developments to strengthen\ncompliance and address construction-related violations of public right-of-\nway regulations; and 2) Return to the Council with proposed\nimprovements for consideration.
