Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) for Traffic Signal Modification Improvements\nfor Eight (8) Intersections Page 212\nStaff recommends that the City Council approve Alternative No. 1, which is to:\n1) Accept a Fee Proposal from PSOMAS, Inc. for $25,000 for continued Construction\nEngineering/Management and Inspection Services and authorize Staff to issue a Purchase\nOrder to encumber the PSOMAS As-Needed On-Call Construction Management and\nInspection Services Contract; and,\n2) Approve a budget amendment of the Fiscal Year 22/23 as stated in the staff report for\nHighway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) for Traffic Signal Modification Improvements\nfor Eight (8) Intersections, Project 2422125002; and,\n3) Amend the water fund, in the amount of $43,995, for the cost of relocating the Orange\nCounty Water District’s reclaimed water line; and\n4) Approve a one-time 3% increase of the Public Works Director’s construction change order\napproval authority for this project only.
