9.1 TREASURER'S STATEMENT OF INVESTMENT POLICY\nComments:\nThe investment policies and practices of the City of Lynwood are based on state laws and\nprinciples of prudent money management. This statement is intended to provide\nguidelines for the prudent investment of idle and surplus cash, while meeting the short\nand long-term cash flow demands. It is submitted annually for City review. (CT)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the Lynwood City Council review the Statement of Investment\nPolicy and adopt the resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF\nTHE CITY OF LYNWOOD, APPROVING THE CITIES ANNUAL STATEMENT OF\nINVESTMENT POLICY."
