9.3 APPROVAL OF HYDROSEEDING TURF PROJECT AT LYNWODO CITY PARK\nSOCCER FIELDS\nComments:\nThe soccer fields at Lynwood City Park are a highly-utilized athletic facility, serving as\nhome to the City’s partner AYSO program and several City-hosted and sponsored\nactivities and special events throughout the year. The facility has recently faced\nmaintenance challenges resulting from environmental factors, limited maintenance\nresources and demanding use schedules. The facility is in crucial need of turf repairs.\nStaff is presenting turf rehabilitation solution for City Council consideration and approval.\n(REC)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council consider and adopt the attached resolution\nentitled, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD\nAPPROVING A CONTRACT WITH PROFESSIONAL TURF SPECIALTIES, INC FOR\nTHE REHABILITATION OF THE SOCCER FIELDS AT LYNWOOD CITY PARK AND\nAUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT."
