9.4 SELECTION OF CONTRACTOR FOR SECURITY GUARD SERVICES\nComments:\nAt its deliberation of the selection of a security services firm conducted at the February 4,\n2025 meeting, the Lynwood City Council directed staff to return with an analysis that\nincluded an expanded RFP “short-list” of security companies for consideration. Staff has\nnow concluded its analysis of the top-ten firms and requests that the City Council review\nthe presented information, select a security services contractor from the top-ten\nproposers and adopt the accompanying Resolution. (REC)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council consider the presented Staff Report and adopt\nthe attached resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY\nOF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE TERMS AND\nEXECUTE AN AGREEMENT AS APPROVED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE\nWITH THE DESIGNATED SECURITY GUARD SERVICES PROVIDER."
