Award of a Professional Services Provider Agreement to SoundThinking, Inc. for\nthe Implementation of ShotSpotter Gunshot Detection Technology\nRecommendation:\nThat the Honorable City Council:\n(1) Award a professional services provider agreement to SoundThinking, Inc. for\nthe purchase and deployment of ShotSpotter Gunshot Detection Technology;\n(2) Adopt Resolution No. 25-014 to amend the Fiscal Year 2024-25 budget, to\nreflect an additional appropriation in the amount of $470,250;\n(3) Approve the expenditure of Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Fund\n(SLESF) monies in the amount not to exceed $470,250; and\n(4) Authorize the City Manager or his designee to make any amendments to the\ncontract as deemed necessary.
