19. CONTRACT AMENDMENT: EUROFINS EATON ANALYTICAL LLC FOR FY 2024-\n2025 – F2M21-29, C2M24-32, M2M25-74\nEurofins Eaton Analytical LLC provides water quality testing laboratory services to the\nUtilities Department on a monthly basis. The original contract for water quality testing\nlaboratory services is $100,000.00 per fiscal year. Eurofins invoices the City on a monthly\nbasis, depending on the type and amount of work performed. Due to the increased cost\namounts during Fiscal Year 2024-2025, Eurofins was required to do work that exceeded\nthe contract amount by $35,000.00. The cost of the additional work is due to a more\nstringent standard of work, where the City’s annual sampling volume significantly\nincreased from 48 samples per year for perchlorate to 516 samples per year. This increase\nreflects the City’s commitment to comply with updated water quality standards and\nensuring continued public health protection. This amendment will only cover additional\nlabor costs and work performed in Fiscal Year 2024-2025.\nRecommended Action: City Council approve an amendment to the Agreement with\nEurofins Eaton Analytical LLC for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 for an additional $35,000.00;\nauthorize the City Manager to sign the Agreement on behalf of the City Council; and, direct\nstaff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
