24. CONSIDERATION OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 6.18.090 AND\n20.05.010; CHAPTERS 18.02, 20.01, 20.23, 22.08, 22.12, 22.20, 22.24, AND 22.28; AND\nDELETING CHAPTER 9.52 OF THE ALHAMBRA MUNICIPAL CODE – F2M25-16,\nO2M25-4847\nPeriodically amendments are needed to the Alhambra Municipal Code (“AMC”) based\nupon changes in legislation and issues arising in implementation of the AMC along with\nfixing typographical errors and making other minor adjustments to improve the\nadministration of the AMC. This proposed ordinance contains updates to the AMC related\nto Community Development that are not contained within the Alhambra Zoning Code\n(“Zoning Code”). The City Council adopted a similar clean-up ordinance amending the\nZoning Code at its meeting on April 28, 2025. The specific changes to the AMC that\nproposed ordinance makes are outlined in the Director of Community Development’s May\n12, 2025 staff report.\nRecommended Action: City Council declare introduced for its first reading the\nfollowing ordinance entitled:\nOrdinance No. O2M25-4847: An Ordinance of the Alhambra City Council\namending Sections 6.18.090 and 20.05.010, and Chapters 18.02, 20.01,\n20.23, 22.08, 22.12, 22.20, 22.24 and 22.28 of the Alhambra Municipal Code,\nand deleting Chapter 9.52 of the Alhambra Municipal Code\nwhich ordinance will return for a second reading and adoption at the next regular Council\nmeeting.
