20. APPROVAL OF CONTRACT AMENDMENT FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT INFORMATION\nTECHNOLOGY SERVICES – F2M20-42, C2M20-33, M2M25-75\nOn July 13, 2020, the City Council awarded a contract for professional information\ntechnology and support services in an amount not to exceed $65,000.00 annually. The\ncontract is due to expire on June 30, 2025. To ensure uninterrupted service to the critical\nneeds of the Fire Department, SDI has agreed to continue their service for an additional\nsix months while the City prepares to provide information technology support services in-\nhouse. SDI has agreed to continue information technology support services to the Fire\nDepartment at the same pricing. Pursuant to the City’s Municipal Code, 3.28.050, the Fire\nDepartment is requesting authorization to continue the contract through December 31,\n2025.\nRecommended Action: City Council approve a contract amendment by and\nbetween the City of Alhambra and SDI Presence LLC to extend the term of the agreement\nby six months, through December 31, 2025, for an additional amount of $35,000.00 (and\na total contract cost not to exceed $360,000.00), subject to final language approval by the\nCity Manager and City Attorney; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to\nfinalize Council’s action.
