14. AMEND CONTRACT WITH WEST COAST ARBORISTS FOR TREE MAINTENANCE\nSERVICES – F96-35, C2M10-26, M2M25-71\nOn June 24, 2024 the City entered into a contract with West Coast Arborist, the current\nprovider of tree maintenance services. The terms of contract are such that services may\nnot exceed $851,270.50. The balance of the existing purchase order for tree services for\nall Alhambra Parks has reached its limit. An additional $15,500 is needed for tree\nmaintenance services for the City’s parks for the remainder of the fiscal year.\nRecommended Action: City Council approve a contract amendment, subject to final\nlanguage approval by the City Manager and City Attorney, by and between the City of\nAlhambra and West Coast Arborists, Inc. for annual professional tree maintenance\nservices in an additional amount of $15,500 in FY 2024-25 (and a total contract cost not\nto exceed $866,770.50) for additional tree maintenance services for the remainder of the\nfiscal year; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize the Council’s\naction.
