3.4 Acceptance of the California Office of Emergency Services (CAL OES) Hazard\nMitigation Grant Program (HMPG) Funds for Update of the Local Hazard Mitigation\nPlan (LHMP).\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Adopt a Resolution entitled “A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY\nCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE\nEXECUTION OF A GRANT AWARD ADMINISTERED BY THE CALIFORNIA\nOFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES (CAL OES)”; and\n2. Approve the acceptance of the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Award\nfrom Cal OES in the amount of $164,981.25; and\n3. Amend the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Adopted Budget by designating grant funds in\nthe amount of $164,981.25 and increasing budgeted expenditures of the SPS Fund\nin the amount of $164,981.25.\nROUTINE MATTER
