H. AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO CALMEX ENGINEERING,\nINC. FOR THE MARKET STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT FROM\nRUBIDOUX BOULEVARD TO VIA CERRO (CIP #19108); AND\nAPPROVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF JURUPA VALLEY\nAND Z&K CONSULTANTS, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION\n MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE MARKET STREET PROJECT\nFROM RUBIDOUX BOULEVARD TO VIA CERRO (CIP #19108)\nRequested Action: That the City Council award:\n1. A construction contract to Calmex Engineering, Inc. in the amount of\n$3,227,000.75 for the Market Street Improvements (CIP #19108), from\nRoubidoux Blvd. to Via Cerro and authorize the City Manager to execute\nthe Agreement in the form attached hereto and to approve contingency up\nto ten percent of the original contract amount; and\n2. A Professional Services Agreement (PSA) for Construction Management\nand Construction Inspection (CM/CI) to Z&K Consultants, Inc. in the\namount of $273,644 for the Market Street Improvements (CIP #19108) and\nauthorize the City Manager to execute the PSA in the form attached hereto.
