5) CONSIDERATION TO AUTHORIZE SUBMITTAL OF A GRANT APPLICATION FOR THE LA84\nFOUNDATION’S WORLD CUP 2026– EXTRAORDINARY IMPACT GRANT\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Authorize the submittal of a grant application for the LA84 Foundation’s World Cup 2026 –\nExtraordinary Impact Grant in an amount of $26,000, to create the “Mission City Speed\nSoccer Program”; and\nb. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to make non-substantive changes and execute all\nrelated documents.
