10) CONSIDERATION TO APPROVE A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH ENTERPRISE FLEET MANAGEMENT\nTHROUGH SOURCEWELL FOR THE PURCHASE OF EIGHT VEHICLES UTILIZED BY THE WATER\nDIVISION, ADOPT A RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE THE FUNDS, AND APPROVE DISPOSITION\nOF THE SURPLUS CITY-OWNED VEHICLES BEING REPLACED\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Approve a Master Equity Lease Agreement with Enterprise Fleet Management (Contract\nNo. 2360) through Sourcewell’s Cooperative Purchasing Program Contract No.:\n030122-EFM, for an amount not-to-exceed $200,000 for the replacement of up to six ageing\nPublic Works Vehicles utilized by the Water Division and purchase up to two new vehicles;\nb. Adopt Resolution No. 8384 appropriating $200,000 from the Equipment/Vehicle\nMaintenance fund for the replacement of six aging Public Works Vehicles and purchase up\nto two new vehicles;\nc. Authorize the City Manager to execute a Purchase Order with Enterprise Fleet Management\nin amount not to exceed $200,000 for the annual lease of up to eight Public Works vehicles\nutilized by the Water Division;\nd. Approve a contingency up to $20,000 for any additional cost due to unforeseen vehicle\nlease related costs;\ne. Approve the cost of installation of a required 2-way emergency radio equipment for the\nvehicles in an amount not to exceed $8,000 through an existing purchase order with\nBearcom Inc.;\nf. Declare vehicles that are to be replaced as surplus and authorize the City Manager, or\ndesignee, to dispose of the six aging surplus City Owned Public Works Vehicles being\nreplaced, in accordance with Chapter 2, Article VI, Division 7, of the San Fernando Municipal\nCode; and\ng. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to make any non-substantive changes and execute\nthe Agreement and all related documents.
