6) CONSIDERATION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN\nOBSOLETE RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY’S RECORDS RETENTION SCHEDULE FOR\nTHE MAINTENANCE AND DISPOSITION OF RECORDS\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Adopt Resolution No. 8383 authorizing the City Clerk and City Attorney to destroy obsolete\nrecords detailed in the Records Destruction Authorization Form pursuant to the State of\nCalifornia, Government Code Section 34090 and the City’s approved Records Retention\nSchedule for the Maintenance and Disposition of Records;\nb. Authorize the City Clerk to certify the Certificate of Destruction; and\nc. Authorize the City Clerk to take all related actions to dispose of such records.
