H. CONTRACT AWARD - PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF STORM DRAIN\nTRASH CAPTURE DEVICES FOR THE EL CAMINO REAL CORRIDOR\nRUNOFF TREATMENT PROJECT, AUTHORIZING A RELATED\nAPPROPRIATION AND FINDING THE PROJECT CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT\nFROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT\nStaff Recommendation\nAdopt Resolution No. 25-67, which will:\n1. Authorize an appropriation of $328,000 from an Orange County\nTransportation Authority (OCTA) Environmental Cleanup Program Grant to\nAccount No. 057-543-43690-000-26802.\n2. Find the El Camino Real Corridor Runoff Treatment Project, CIP Project No.\n26802, categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA) under Class 1 (Existing facilities, 14 CCR Section 15301) of the\nState CEQA Guidelines.\n3. Authorize an exemption to the competitive bidding requirements for and\naward the El Camino Real Corridor Runoff Treatment Project contract to G2\nConstruction, Inc. as a cooperative purchase.\n4. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to execute, Contract No. C25-27,\nby and between the City of San Clemente and G2 Construction, Inc.,\nproviding for the El Camino Real Corridor Runoff Treatment Project, in an\namount not to exceed $410,000, in a form substantially similar to Contract\nNo. C25-27 (Attachment 5).
