ACCEPT THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN\nDEVELOPMENT (HUD) HOME AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (HOME-ARP)\nGRANT AWARD AND ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 2023-XX TO ACCEPT\nTHE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT\n(HUD) HOME AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN FUNDS AND ACCEPT THE\nPROPOSED ALLOCATION PLAN. (Report of: Financial & Management\nServices)\nRecommendations:\n1. Accept the Fiscal Year 21-22 Home American Rescue Plan (HOME-\nARP) grant award in the amount of $2,427,401, and any subsequent\nre-allocation funds.\n2. Authorize the City Manager, City Attorney and Chief Financial Officer\nto enter into, execute, and deliver HOME American Rescue Plan\n(HOME-ARP) award and compliance documents.\n3. Designate the City Manager, City Attorney and Chief Financial Officer\nas authorized signatory to execute HOME American Rescue Plan\n(HOME-ARP) documents on behalf of the City of Moreno Valley.\n4. Authorize the Chief Financial Officer to appropriate budget as set forth\nin the Fiscal Impact section.\n5. Adopt Resolution No. 2023-XX to accept the U.S. Department of\nHousing and Urban Development (HUD) HOME American Rescue\nPlan (HOME-ARP) funds and accept the proposed allocation plan.
