I.6 ACCEPTANCE OF WORKFORCE ACCELERATOR GRANT AND\nAWARD OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR\nWORKFORCE TRAINING PROGRAM (AGMT. NO. 2025-__) (REPORT\nOF: ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING) (ALL DISTRICTS)\nAuthorization to accept CWDB Workforce Accelerator Fund 13 grant funds and to\naward professional services agreement to operate workforce training program.\n(Agmt. No. 2025-___) (All Districts)\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Accept a $150,000 grant award from California Workforce Development Board’s\nWorkforce Accelerator Fund 13 (WAF) to create and implement a workforce skills\nprogram at the Moreno Valley Business & Employment Resource Center (BERC).\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with gener8tor\nManagement, LLC., in the amount of $140,000 to provide professional skills\ntraining pursuant to the WAF grant application to provide IT and cybersecurity\ntraining.\n3. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the agreement and any\nsubsequent related amendments to the agreement with gener8tor Management,\nLLC., subject to the approval of the City Attorney and available budget as\npreviously approved by Council.\n4. Approve budget adjustments as set forth in the Fiscal Impact section of this\nreport.
