I.16 APPROVAL OF A JURISDICTIONAL DELEGATED MAINTENANCE\nAGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MORENO VALLEY AND THE\nCALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, DISTRICT 8\n(REPORT OF: PUBLIC WORKS) (DISTRICTS 1, 2, and 3)\nApproval of a Delegated Maintenance Agreement By and Between the City of\nMoreno Valley and the California Department of Transportation, District 8, to\nIdentify and Specify State Right-of-Way Maintenance Functions Including Highway\nand Freeway Areas Located within the City’s Jurisdictional Limits\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Approve the Delegated Maintenance Agreement By and Between the City of\nMoreno Valley and the California Department of Transportation District 8, to identify\nand specify State right-of-way maintenance functions including highway and\nfreeway areas located within the City’s jurisdictional limits; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the finalized Delegated Maintenance\nAgreement By and Between the City of Moreno Valley and the California\nDepartment of Transportation, District 8, in the amount of $150,000 contingent\nupon approval by the California Department of Transportation. The agreement will\nbe funded by the State through reimbursement per the terms outlined in the\nagreement, and is subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute any subsequent related Amendments to\nthe Delegated Maintenance Agreement By and Between the City of Moreno Valley\nand the California Department of Transportation District 8 subject to the approval of\nthe City Attorney; and\n4. Approve a budget of $150,000 for expenses and reimbursement revenue\ncontingent upon approval by the California Department of Transportation and\nconsistent with the outlined budget adjustment as set forth in the Fiscal Impact\nsection of this report.

Authorize the award of an agreement with CornerstoneCC for the Electric\nVehicle Charging Project Number 805 0081 located at the Moreno Valley Civic\nCenter Amphitheater Parking Lot; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement with CornerstoneCC for\nthe amount of $149,206, funded by the Moreno Valley Electric Utility’s Restricted\nAssets Fund (6011); and\n3. Authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to CornerstoneCC for the amount of\n$149,206 when the agreement has been signed by all parties; and\n4. Authorize the City Manager to execute any subsequent Amendments to the\nAgreement with CornerstoneCC within the City Council approved annual budgeted\namounts, including the authority to authorize the associated purchase orders in\naccordance with the terms of the agreement, subject to the approval of the City\nAttorney.
