1.\nFISCAL YEAR 2025-26 ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET AND CAPITAL\nIMPROVEMENT PROGRAM - The proposed Fiscal Year 2025-26 budget was\ndiscussed with the City Council along with the Planning Commission; the Parks,\nRecreation, and Community Services Commission; and the Arts Commission on April\n29, 2025. In addition, on May 20, 2025, the Planning Commission made a finding by\nminute action that the Draft Fiscal Year 2025-26 Capital Improvement Program is\nconsistent with the City of Santa Clarita's General Plan. The requirements outlined in\nAssembly Bill 2561 are met within the proposed budget.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council and City Council acting as Successor Agency to the former Redevelopment\nAgency of the City of Santa Clarita conduct a public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year\n2025-26 Annual Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program and schedule the\nbudget for adoption at the June 10, 2025, City Council meeting.
