CC10. Approve a Letter to the San Gabriel Valley Legislative Caucus Requesting Support for the San\nGabriel Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District’s Pursuit of State Funding to Address\nPublic Health Risks Following the 2025 Eaton Fire.\nEND OF CONSENT CALENDAR\nRECOMMENDATION: Approve consent calendar with recommendations as presented in staff\nreports.\nHOUSING AUTHORITY\nHA 1. Award Construction Contact 202505 Charter Oak Mobile Home Estates North Property\nWall to Bedrock Group, Inc. in the Amount of $1,038,040.00. Authorize a Total Project\nBudget of $1,318,040 and Approve Related Budget Amendments.\nRECOMMENDATION:\nStaff recommends that the Housing Authority:\n1. Appropriate an additional $418,458 from the Housing Authority Trustee Administration\nFund 113 to bring the fiscal year total budget to $1,418,458 for account\n113.4120.020.001. The funds will offset expenses already occurred and provide a\nproject budget of $1,318,040 for construction of the Charter Oak Mobile Home\nEstates North Property Wall project.\n2. Award Construction Contact 202505 Charter Oak Mobile Home Estates North\nProperty Wall to Bedrock Group, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the bid\namount of $1,038,040.00.\n3. Authorize a total project budget of $1,318,040 for the construction\ncontract, $45,000 for HCD, SCRRA flagging and permit fees, $200,000 for\ncontingency, $35,000 for engineering services and inspection.\n4. Authorize Executive Director to execute the Construction Contract with Bedrock\nGroup, Inc. in a form approved by the City Attorney.\n5. Approve CC 202505, Charter Oak Mobile Home Estates North Property Wall\nproject, Project Plans and Specifications which are on file in the Public Works\nDepartment\nPUBLIC HEARING ITEMS\nPH1. Introduce Ordinance 1326, Consideration of a Cityinitiated Municipal Code Text Amendment\nof Title 18, Chapter 18.162 Tree Preservation Ordinance to Exempt Singlefamily Zoned\nProperties and Singlefamily Properties within a Specific Plan, with the Exception of Areas\nOwned or Managed by Homeowner’s Associations (HOA), and Areas Located within Certain\nOpen Space, Scenic/Slope Easements and Conservation Areas, and Associated Cleanup Item.\nRECOMMENDATION: Staff and the Planning Commission recommend the City Council\nread by title and introduce Ordinance 1326, approving Municipal Code Text Amendment 2305\nexempting singlefamily zoned properties and singlefamily properties within a specific plan, with\nthe exception of areas owned or managed by homeowner’s associations (HOA), and areas\nlocated within certain open space, scenic/slope easements and conservation areas, and\nassociated cleanup item.PH2. Presentation of Compliance with Assembly Bill 2561/Government Code Section 3502.3 Staff\nVacancies and the City’s Recruitment and Retention Efforts to Comply with New Legal\nObligations\nRECOMMENDATION:\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\nConduct a public hearing and receive and file the staff report to comply with Assembly\nBill 2561 and Government Code Section 3502.3 presenting on staff vacancies and the\nCity’s Recruitment and Retention Efforts\nPH3. Approve a Resolution Setting the CityWide Landscape Parcel Tax for Fiscal Year 20252026\nRECOMMENDATION:\nCity staff recommends that the City Council:
