12.3\nConsideration and Approval of a Third Amendment to a Professional Services\nAgreement with DNA Architecture Design Inc., for the Design of Homekey Program\nPhase II: Rehabilitation of the M Motel Project.\nRECOMMENDATION OF BU SINESS ITEM UNDER CONSIDERATION:\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve a Third Amendment to a Professional Services Agreement for Design Services\nwith DNA Architecture Design, Inc. to amend Agreement “completion date” until the City\nCouncil’s acceptance of a notice of completion for the Homekey Phase II Restoration\nProject;\n2. Increase the Agreement amount from $395,651 by an additional $64,904 to undertake\nadditional professional services throughout the duration of the construction of the Project\nfor a new Agreement not-to-exceed amount of $460,554; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager, or her designee to make all conforming modifications and\nedits and execute all implementing documents and approve change orders that may be\nnecessary to cover unforeseen conditions in an amount not-to-exceed 15% of the\nadditional increase of $9,735.\nTotal Cost: $74,639\nIs the cost of this item budgeted?
