8)\nCONSIDERATION TO AUTHORIZE SUBMITTAL OF A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE CALIFORNIA\nARTS COUNCIL FOR FUNDING SUPPORT OF THE MARIACHI MASTER APPRENTICE PROGRAM\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Authorize the preparation and submittal of a grant application to the California Arts Council\nin the amount of $25,000 to support the Mariachi Master Apprentice Program; and\nb.
