I.13\n\nAUTHORIZATION TO AWARD A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO RED HAWK\nSERVICES, INC. FOR BRIDGE UNDERPASS PROTECTIVE FENCING PROJECT\n(REPORT OF: PUBLIC WORKS) (DISTRICT 1)\nAward a Construction Contract to Red Hawk Services, Inc. for Bridge Underpass\nProtective Fencing Project\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Award a construction contract to Red Hawk Services, Inc. for the construction of\nthe Bridge Underpass Protective Fencing Project; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the contract with Red Hawk Services, Inc.\nin the amount of $99,305.27 funded by General Fund (1010); and\n3. Authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to Red Hawk Services, Inc. in the\n6\n\namount of $109,235.80 (Base Bid amount of $99,305.27 plus 10% contingency)\nwhen the contract has been signed by all parties; and\n4. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute any subsequent\nchange orders to the contract with Red Hawk Services, Inc., up to the project budget\nas previously approved by the City Council, subject to the approval of the City\nAttorney.
