I.5\n\nAUTHORIZE AGREEMENT FOR VETERINARY SERVICES FOR THE MORENO\nVALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER (REPORT OF: COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT)\n(DISTRICT: ALL DISTRICTS)\nAuthorize Agreement For Veterinary Services For The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Approve the Agreement with Moreno Valley Community Vet Care, owned and\noperated by Dr. Nicholas A. Storey, D.V.M., and Dr. Joey Cowan, D.V.M. for\n$1,500,000 for the five-year period beginning July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2030.\n2. Authorize the issuance of an annual purchase orders for Moreno Valley\nCommunity Vet Care each fiscal year of the Agreement term, subject to funds\navailable in the City Council approved Operating Budget; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the Agreement and any\nsubsequent amendments, subject to the approval of the City Attorney, in accordance\nwith approved terms of the Agreement, and within available budget as previously\napproved by Council.
