I.6\n\nADOPT RESOLUTION 2025-XX AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR THEIR\nDESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE AND SUBMIT DOCUMENTS FOR BUILDING\nRESILIENT INFRASTRUCTURE AND COMMUNITIES PROGRAM AND ACCEPT\nGRANT (REPORT OF: COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT) (DISTRICT: ALL\nDISTRICTS)\nAdopt Resolution 2025-XX authorizing the City Manager, or designee, to execute and\nsubmit documents for Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities Program and\naccept the grant.\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 2025-XX, designating and authorizing the City Manager, ortheir designee, to execute and submit documents to the Building Resilient\nInfrastructure and Communities (BRIC) Program to obtain federal financial assistance\nprovided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency through the California\nGovernor's Office of Emergency Services.\n2. Accept the FY23 grant award of $134,141.49 from the Building Resilient\nInfrastructure and Communities program.\n3. Authorize the Chief Financial Officer, or their designee, to make any necessary\nbudget adjustments as set forth in the Fiscal Impact section of this report.
