10.2 APPROVE A RESOLUTION DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO AWARD A FRANCHISE\nAGREEMENT TO TORRANCE PIPELINE COMPANY FOR CONTINUED USE OF\nEXISTING PIPELINE AND SET A PUBLIC HEARING DATE TO CONSIDER THE\nAWARD OF THE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT\nComments:\nApprove Ordinance Granting a new franchise agreement to Torrance Pipeline Company\nfor a 10 year term to an existing Oil and Gas Pipeline system. (CD)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\nApprove a resolution declaring its intention to award the franchise agreement to\nTorrance Pipeline Company for continued use of existing pipeline;\nSet a public hearing date concerning the franchise agreement for the next regular\nmeeting July 1, 2025; and\nDirect City Clerk to publish notice of same within the local newspaper 15 days after\nadoption of resolution.
