C.\n\nAdopt Resolution No. 2025-23 – Granting Permission to Council Member\nSteven Ly to be Absent from Council Meetings Pursuant to Government\nCode Section 36513 for Military Service Overseas On March 25, 2025\nmeeting, the City Council approved Resolution No. 2025-15, providing\npermission to Council Member Steven Ly to be absent from Council\nmeetings pursuant to Government Code Section 36513 until May 28, 2025.\nCouncil Member Steven Ly is still on a military service tour, and his return\ndate has not been determined by the Military at this time. In the meantime,\nthe City Council has before it for consideration Resolution No. 2025-23,\nwhich grants permission for Council Member Steven Ly an extension to\nbe absent from Council meetings passing 60 days, in accordance with\nGovernment Code Section 36513, to complete his military service.\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2025-23,\nproviding permission for Council Member Steven Ly to be absent from Council\nmeetings until July 27, 2025, pursuant to Government Code Section 36513.
