17.\nNotice of Completion and Change Order No. 3 for Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl\nSubstances (PFAS) Treatment System Project-CIP No. 50042.\n(500)\nRecommendation:\n1. Amend fiscal year (FY) 2024-25 Pico Rivera Water Authority (PRWA)\nBudget by appropriating $58,657 from the Water Authority Reserve Fund\n(Fund No. 550) to CIP No. 50042, Account No. 550.70.7340.54500CIP50042;\n2. Approve Change Order No. 3 for the PFAS Treatment System Project, CIP\nNo. 50042 (Project), in the amount of $58,657, for a final construction\ncontract amount of $5,000,642;\n3. Accept the work as completed for the Project constructed by Metro Builders\nand Engineers Group, LTD. (Metro) and authorize the City Clerk to file the\nNotice of Completion with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder; and\n4. Authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute Change Order No.\n3 and to release the retention payment to Metro following the mandatory\nwaiting period from the date the Notice of Completion is recorded.
