8.\nAGREEMENT AUTHORIZING PUBLIC EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY\nENGAGEMENT GRANT WITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY FLOOD\nCONTROL DISTRICT - The City of Santa Clarita has been awarded a grant of $25,000\nthrough the Safe, Clean Water Program’s Public Education and Community Engagement\nGrant. This grant will fund storm water outreach initiatives.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Accept Safe, Clean Water Public Education and Community Engagement grant funds\nfrom the Los Angeles County Flood Control District.\n2. Appropriate funds in the amount of $25,000 to Miscellaneous Grant (Fund 259)\nEnvironmental Services Grant Project account 2597233-516101 and increase\nMiscellaneous Grant (Fund 259) revenue account 259-462101 by $25,000.\n3. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute all contracts and associated\ndocuments, subject to City Attorney approval.
