4.\nFISCAL YEAR 2025-26 ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET AND CAPITAL\nIMPROVEMENT PROGRAM - The proposed Fiscal Year 2025-26 budget was\ndistributed to the City Council on May 19, 2025. In addition, on May 20, 2025, the\nPlanning Commission made a finding by minute action that the Draft Fiscal Year 202526 Capital Improvement Program is consistent with the City of Santa Clarita's General\nPlan. Further, at the May 27, 2025, City Council meeting, a public hearing was opened\nand the draft budget was presented.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council and City Council acting as Successor Agency to the former Redevelopment\nAgency of the City of Santa Clarita:\n1. Adopt a resolution adopting the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26, making\nappropriations for the amounts budgeted and establishing policies for the\nadministration of the adopted Annual Budget.\n2. Adopt a resolution adopting the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Capital Improvement Program.\n3. Adopt a resolution approving and adopting the annual appropriations limit for\nFiscal Year 2025-26.\n4. Adopt a resolution electing to receive all or a portion of the tax revenues pursuant to\nthe Health and Safety Code (Community Redevelopment Law).
