12.\nAPPROVAL OF THE WATER AND POWER DEPARTMENT’S 2025 WILDFIRE MITIGATION PLAN (Water & Power Dept.)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1)\nFind that the proposed action in the agenda report is statutorily exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”)\npursuant to Section 21080(b)(4) of CEQA and Section 15269 (Emergency Projects) of the State\nCEQA Guidelines, and as such, no environmental document pursuant to CEQA is required for the project; and\n(2)\nApprove the annual update of the Wildfire Mitigation plan for 2025 for the Water and Power Department (“PWP”) as required by the\nCalifornia Public Utilities Code (“PUC”) Section 8387.
