8.\nLEGISLATIVE POLICY COMMITTEE: SUPPORT FOR AB 476 (M. GONZÁLEZ): METAL THEFT (Office of the City Manager)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1)\nFind that the action proposed in the agenda report is covered by the “Common Sense” exemption set forth in the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3) as CEQA only applies to\nprojects that may have a significant effect on the environment;\n(2)\nSupport Assembly Bill 746 (M. González) – Metal Theft, and any subsequent related legislation; and\n(3)\nAuthorize the Mayor to send letters to the appropriate authorities stating the City of Pasadena’s position.
