Consideration of a Resolution Approving Participation in the Los Angeles Urban County\nPermanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) Program Year 5, Authorizing Reimbursable\nContract with the County of Los Angeles and Approve the Recommended Programs to be\nFunded. (City Council)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the city council:\n1. Read by title only, waive further reading, and adopt Resolution No. 2025-26 titled:\nA RESOLUTION OF THE BELL CITY COUNCIL APPROVING\nPARTICIPATION IN THE LOS ANGELES URBAN COUNTY\nPERMANENT LOCAL HOUSING ALLOCATION PROGRAM BY\nAUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO SIGN A\nREIMBURSABLE CONTRACT WITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY\nDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (LACDA) ACTING ON BEHALF OF THE\nCOUNTY OF LOS ANGELES\n2. Approve Staff-recommended programs that will be funded with the Permanent Local\nHousing Allocation (PLHA) Program Funds Year 5.\n3. Authorize Staff to develop the program policies and guidelines for the programs.\n4. Authorize Staff to incorporate PLHA budget programs and staffing to implement the\nprograms in City Budgets.
