9.\nPRESENTATION OF STATUS OF VACANCIES AND RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION EFFORTS IN\nACCORDANCE WITH GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 3502.3\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Conduct a public hearing to present the status of vacancies and recruitment and retention efforts in\naccordance with Government Code section 3502.3; and\n2. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
