13.o\nAUTHORIZE THE USE OF QUILL, WAXIE, LOWE’S, HD SUPPLY, HOME\nDEPOT, AND SHERWIN WILLIAMS FOR OPERATIONAL SUPPLIES\nFOR THE PALM DESERT HOUSING AUTHORITY FOR FISCAL YEAR\n2025-26\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Authorize Quill, LLC, for recurring office supplies in an amount not\nto exceed $17,000.\n2.\nAuthorize Brady Plus dba Waxie Sanitary Supply for recurring\npurchase of janitorial and sanitary supplies in an amount not to\nexceed $17,000.\n3.\nAuthorize Lowe’s Home Centers, Inc., for recurring purchase of\nmaterials, supplies, and appliances in an amount not to exceed\n$215,000.\n4.\nAuthorize Home Depot U.S.A., Inc., for recurring purchase of\nmaterials and supplies in an amount not to exceed $55,000.\n5.\nAuthorize HD Supply Facilities Maintenance for recurring purchase\nof materials and supplies in an amount not to exceed $230,000.\n6.\nAuthorize Sherwin Williams Company for recurring purchase of\npaint and supplies in an amount not to exceed $45,000.\n7.\nAuthorize the disposal and recycling of inefficient, damaged,\nobsolete, and non-functioning appliances as appropriate in\naccordance with Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”)\nstandards and declare a surplus at the time of removal from the\nproperties.\nAPPROVE AMENDMENT NUMBER 1 TO HA48600 WITH MOHAWK\nCOMMERCIAL FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF FLOOR COVERINGS AT\nPALM DESERT HOUSING AUTHORITY PROPERTIES IN AN AMOUNT\nNOT TO EXCEED $250,000 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-26.\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Approve Amendment No. 1 to contract HA48600 with Mohawk\nCommercial, Inc.
