13. Citywide Landscaping and Lighting District No. 6 and Special Zones Public Hearing &\nResolution for Annual Levy. On May 19, 2025, the City Council adopted a Resolution setting\nJune 16, 2025 at 6:30 PM as the date and time for the public hearing for the subject assessment\ndistrict and its zones. Attached is the Engineer’s Report from the May 19, 2025 meeting. No\nchange in the assessment levy is proposed for the subject special benefit in Zones 2, 3, 4-II, and\n5. The assessment rate for these zones is set at the maximum rate allowed. Zone 5 is\nproposed to have the levied assessment reduced below the maximum assessment amount to\ndraw down reserves. Zones 4-I and 6 allow for CPI increases which have been applied to their\nrespective assessments for the proposed Fiscal Year 2025-26 levy.\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt the attached Resolution providing for the annual\nlevy and collection of assessments for the special zones in District No. 6 for Fiscal Year 20252026.
