12. Memorandum of Understanding with Los Angeles County Department of Military and\nVeterans Affairs for Veterans Benefits Assistance Services. This MOU formalizes a\ncollaborative partnership that will allow MVA to provide on-site veterans benefits assistance at\nthe La Verne Community Center. The partnership ensures that local veterans and their families\nreceive direct access to vital services including benefits counseling, claims filing assistance, and\nreferrals to housing and health care resources.\nRecommendation: That the City Council:\n1. Approve the Memorandum of Understanding with the Los Angeles County Department of\nMilitary and Veterans Affairs; and\n2.
