19. Citywide Tree Maintenance and Arborist Services Award of Contract. The City initiated a\nRequest for Proposals (RFP) process to select a qualified contractor for annual, comprehensive\ntree maintenance and arborist services. This includes routine trimming, removals, planting,\nemergency response for City-maintained trees, and professional arborist work such as tree\nhealth assessments and risk evaluations. After evaluating written proposals and conducting\ninterviews, staff is recommending a contract award to West Coast Arborists, Inc.\nRecommendation: That the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute a Professional\nServices Agreement, and any amendments related hereto, with West Coast Arborists, Inc., for a\nterm of five (5) years commencing July 1, 2025, at prices proposed, in an amount not to exceed\n$450,000 annually, for citywide tree maintenance and arborist services.
