1.p Resolution Appointing an Interim Director of Finance and Approving the Retired Annuitant\nEmployment Agreement with the City of Placentia\nFiscal Impact:\nThe Director of Finance is a regularly allocated position within the City's budget. The costs\nassociated with an Interim Director of Finance can be covered in the FY 2024-25 and FY\n2025-26 budgets.\nRecommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1. Adopt Resolution R-2025-34, A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Placentia,\nCalifornia Appointing Pamela Arends-King as Interim Director of Finance Pursuant to\nGovernment Code Section 21221 (H) and Approving the Retired Annuitant\nEmployment Agreement; and\n2. Approve the Retired Annuitant Employment Agreement; and\n3. Authorize the City Administrator and/or her designee to execute all the necessary\ndocuments in a form approved by the City Attorney.
