28.\nRESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO FORM AN ENAHANCED INFRASTRUCTURE\nDISTRICT (EIFD); ESTABLISH THE SANTA FE SPRINGS EIFD PUBLIC FINANCE\nAUTHORITY; AND APPOINT THE MAYOR AND MAYOR PRO TEM TO THE EIFD\nPUBLIC FINANCE AUTHORITY (COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Adopt Resolution No. 9954, declaring its intention to establish the Santa Fe\nSprings Enhanced Infrastructure Financing District (EIFD) and establishing the\nSanta Fe Springs EIFD Public Financing Authority (PFA); and\n2) Appoint the Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem to the Public Financing Authority Board,\nand appoint one member of the City Council as alternate Board member;\n3) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
