Public Hearing Regarding Increased Fees for the Handling of Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials\nfor Residential and Commercial Properties within the City and Adoption of proposed Resolution\nNo. 25-31 levying fees for the handling of solid waste and recyclable materials (page 65)\nPresented by Assistant to the City Manager\nRecommendation:\nThe City Council is requested to:\n1.\nReceive and file the request from Republic Services to increase fees for\nthe handling of solid waste and recyclable materials against\nJune 17, 2025, at 6:30 P.M.\nresidential properties by 4.71% per dwelling unit per month per\nmonth and commercial/industrial customers within the City by 5.19%\nto be applied to commercial and roll-off service rates; and\n2.\nAdopt proposed Resolution No. 25-31 levying fees for handling solid\nwaste and recyclable materials, also known as rubbish collection\ncharge, against residential and commercial properties within the City.
