A. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF AN AGREEMENT WITH FLOCK\nGROUP INC. FOR AN AUTOMATED LICENSE PLATE READER (ALPR)\nCAMERA SUBSCRIPTION\nCity Council is requested to consider the approval of an agreement for automated\nlicense plate reader camera subscription to maximize the exposure and\neffectiveness of the City’s existing vehicle mounted automated license plate\nreader cameras on two Sheriff’s Department patrol vehicles.\nPresenter: Public Safety Supervisor\nRecommendation:\n1. Consider and approve the services agreement (Attachment “A”) with Flock\nGroup Inc. (Flock Safety) for 10 automated license plate reader (ALPR)\ncamera subscriptions in the amount of $28,500.00 for the first year and\n$25,500 for the second year;\n2. Authorize the City Manager to sign and execute the agreement;\n3. Authorize a budget amendment of $28,500 in the General Fund for Fiscal Year\n2022-23; and\n4. Find that approval of the agreement and subscription service with Flock Group\nInc. is not a “Project” as defined under Section 15378 of the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act State Guidelines; therefore, pursuant to State\nGuidelines Section 15060(c)(3) no environmental review is required.
