RESOLUTION NO. _____-2025 TO INITIATE PROCEEDINGS TO REAFFIRM THE LEVY AND\nCOLLECTION OF ANNUAL ASSESSMENTS AND ORDERING THE CITY ENGINEER TO\nPREPARE AN ENGINEER’S REPORT FOR LANDSCAPING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT #1,\nSTREET MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT #1, STREET LIGHTING ASSESSMENT\nDISTRICT #1, AND FLOOD CONTROL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT #1\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Approve Resolution No. _____-2025 and Initiate proceedings to reaffirm the levy and\ncollection of annual property tax roll assessments for Fiscal Year 2025/2026 and;\n2. Order the Consulting City Engineer to prepare an Engineer’s Report for Landscaping\nAssessment District #1, Street Maintenance Assessment District #1, Street Lighting\nAssessment District #1, and Flood Control Assessment District #1.\n3. Set the date, time, and location of the public hearing for the reaffirmation of the annual\nproperty tax roll assessments for Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at 220 E. Mountain\nView St., Barstow, CA 92311.\n4. Direct the City Clerk to publish a Notice of Public Hearing in a local newspaper of general\ncirculation and, waive the full reading.
