37.\nSECOND READING AND ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS\n6.18.090 AND 20.05.010; CHAPTERS 18.02, 20.01, 20.23, 22.08, 22.12, 22.20, 22.24,\nAND 22.28; AND DELETING CHAPTER 9.52 OF THE ALHAMBRA MUNICIPAL CODE\n– F2M25-16, O2M25-4847\nStaff requests that the City Council declare introduced for second reading and adopt an\nordinance amending Sections 6.18.090 and 20.05.010; Chapters 18.02, 20.01, 20.23,\n22.08, 22.12, 22.20, 22.24, and 22.28; and deleting Chapter 9.52 of the Alhambra\nMunicipal Code. Periodically amendments are needed to the Alhambra Municipal Code\n(“AMC”) based upon changes in legislation and issues arising in implementation of the\nAMC along with fixing typographical errors and making other minor adjustments to\nimprove the administration of the AMC. This proposed ordinance contains updates to the\nAMC related to Community Development that are not contained within the Alhambra\nZoning Code (“Zoning Code”). The City Council adopted a similar clean-up ordinance\namending the Zoning Code at its meeting on April 28, 2025. The specific changes to the\nAMC that proposed ordinance makes are outlined in the Director of Community\nDevelopment’s May 12, 2025 staff report. The City Council gave first reading to this\nordinance at the May 12, 2025 Council meeting.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council declare introduced for its second reading and\nadopt the following ordinance entitled:\nOrdinance No. O2M25-4847: An Ordinance of the Alhambra City Council\namending Sections 6.18.090 and 20.05.010, and Chapters 18.02, 20.01,\n20.23, 22.08, 22.12, 22.20, 22.24 and 22.28 of the Alhambra Municipal Code,\nand deleting Chapter 9.52 of the Alhambra Municipal Code
