23.\nCONTRACT EXTENSION: PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH HDL –\nF2M20-45, C2M20-32, M2M25-95\nOn June 8, 2020, the City Council approved the distribution of a Request for Proposals for\nSales and Use Tax Audit and Information Services. On July 13, 2020, the City Council\nawarded a contract to Hinderliter, de Llamas and Associates (HdL) for sales and use tax\naudit and information services in an amount not to exceed $100,000 per year. The contract\nterm began on June 30, 2021 and is set to end on June 30, 2025, with an option to extend\nthe contract by an additional two years, through FY 2026-27 at the same annual rate. Staff\nhas been satisfied with the quality of service provided by HdL and recommends exercising\nthe two-year contract extension option under the current compensation terms, not to\nexceed $100,000 per year\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council approve a two-year contract extension option,\nsubject to final language approval by the City Manager and City Attorney, by and between\nthe City of Alhambra and Hinderliter, de Llamas and Associates (HdL), for professional\nsales and use tax audit and information services in an amount not to exceed $100,000 per\nyear; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.\n(M2M25-95)
