20.\nCONTRACT EXTENSION: HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING\n(HVAC) MAINTENANCE SERVICES – F2M22-44, C2M22-42, M2M25-92\nOn July 25, 2022, the City Council awarded a three-year contract to Allison Mechanical,\nInc. for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Maintenance for City Hall, Civic\nCenter Library, Police Department, and Fire Station 71 in the amount of $335,196.00. The\ncontract included an option to extend the contract for two additional one-year terms. On\nMarch 11, 2024, the City Council approved Amendment No. 1 to include quarterly\nmaintenance services at Fire Stations 72, 73, and 74, and the Training Facility for an\nadditional amount of $14,457.00 for the remaining two years of the contract. Allison\nMechanical has provided satisfactory performance and staff are pleased with their service.\nStaff is requesting an amendment for July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 in an amount\nnot to exceed $129,289.00. There was no pricing change or increase from the initial\nproposal that was submitted by Allison Mechanical, Inc.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council extend the existing contract with Allison\nMechanical, Inc., subject to final language approval by the City Manager and City Attorney,\nin an amount not to exceed $129,289.00 from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026; and,\ndirect staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
