21.\nAPPROPRIATION OF ROAD MAINTENANCE AND REHAB ACCOUNT (RMRA)\nFUNDS FOR THE FY 2023-24 SB1 STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT – F2M23-38,\nM2M25-93\nOn April 28, 2025, City Council awarded a contract to Hardy & Harper (Contract No.\nC2M25-18) in the amount of $3,085,000.00 for the FY 2023-24 SB1 Street Rehabilitation\nProject, which is located in the northeast area of the City. When the contract was awarded,\nstaff anticipated there was sufficient budget under account 232.70.7722.62210 to address\nthe costs of the contract; however, upon further review, staff determined there was a\nshortfall of $1,352,947.04. Staff, therefore, is requesting an appropriation in the amount of\n$1,352,947.04 from the RMRA Fund Balance to complete the project.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council approve the appropriation of $1,352,947.04\nfrom the Road Maintenance & Rehab Account (RMRA) Fund for the FY 23-24 SB1 Street\nRehabilitation Project; direct the Finance Director to appropriate $1,352,947.04 from the\nRMRA Fund for the completion of the project; and, direct staff to undertake the steps\nnecessary to finalize the Council’s action.
