1.\nCOMMENDATIONS: ENVIRONMENTAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD RECIPIENTS –\nF2M25-3\nMayor Lee and City Council wish to commend the recent winners of the Fourth Annual\nEnvironmental Scholarship Award. Republic Services joined with the City of Alhambra to\naward five scholarships of $1,000 to Alhambra students. Each finalist submitted an essay\nbased on the theme of environmental stewardship and acknowledged the power of future\ngenerations to innovate greener living standards, an environmentally sound economy, and\nan environmentally sustainable lifestyle. The City of Alhambra is pleased to congratulate\nAlhambra students Danny Thach, Elizabeth Ma, Asher Wong, Jadee Lin and Michelle\nZang for their achievements and for inspiring others through their dedication to the\nconservation of our planet. Mayor Lee will present commendations to the scholarship\naward recipients.
