7.\nAPPROVAL OF A CONTRACT AMENDMENT FOR THE DRONE AS FIRST\nRESPONDER PROGRAM TO ASSIGN THE CONTRACT TO FLOCK GROUP, INC. –\nF2M24-6B, C2M24-18, M2M25-80\nOn March 11, 2024, the City Council awarded a contract to Aerodome, Inc. for a Drone as\nFirst Responder drone, docking station, radar, software and other related equipment. On\nOctober 10, 2024, Aerodome, Inc. entered into an Agreement and Plan of Reorganization\nwith Flock Group, Inc. Flock has provided the Letter of Assignment to the City as they will\nassume the obligations under the agreement with the City, and as such, has requested a\nfirst contract amendment to reflect the ownership change.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council approve a first contract amendment, subject to\nfinal language approval by the City Manager and City Attorney, for the Drone as First\nResponder Program to change the company from Aerodome Inc. to Flock Group, Inc.;\nauthorize the Chief of Police to execute the said amendment; and, direct staff to undertake\nthe steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
